Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween from Pacific Personal Training! Kudos to those of you giving out stickers and crayons rather than sugar. You're making a lot of parents very happy. To those of you digging in your kids' goodie bag for chocolate, keep one thing in mind: MODERATION. Practice some self-restraint. If you go a little overboard, get right back on track tomorrow morning. Don't give yourself permission to slack for the rest of the weekend. Tomorrow is a new day! The next holiday will come along very soon, and the next after that. In fact, October-January can become one huge gorge-fest if we let it. Don't let it!

Hillsboro Crossfit coming soon!
Here at PPT we're always working on advancing our fitness education and knowledge. As part of our commitment to our clientele to be the best fitness professionals that we can be, we are, once again, broadening our horizons. Hillsboro Crossfit is in the works! For those of you who may be new to the Crossfit phenomenon, please read on. Crossfit is sweeping the nation as the newest, toughest, quickest, and most fun way to get in shape. This highly sought-after program is only offered by 4 other facilities in the Portland metro area. We are very excited to be able to offer this new service to our clients and to bring a program of this caliber to Hillsboro. Click here for more on why we will be great Crossfit affiliates. Look at the picture. That is so us! We know that being a "world-class" facility has little to do with our size or equipment and everything to do with the staff. Pacific Personal Trainers are, hands down, the best around! Chuck will be attending Crossfit Level 1 certification November 8th and 9th and shortly thereafter we will be offering classes. Get ready for some Crossfit!

Grand Opening! 10/10/08
Mingling...
We were so happy Linda and Kathy made it. I think Linda's daughter Sara was the most excited to see our new "gym". She talked about it for weeks!
I finally get to put my feet up with a little help from Chuck and my sister, Stephanie
Chantal with husband Scott and daughter Chloe
Charlie's Angels look like they're up to no good.

Whoops! Minor soda spill on the mayor's shoes. Gabe felt so bad!
Cutting the ribbon with Mayor Tom Hughes. What an awesome feeling to have the support of so many friends/clients on one of the biggest days of our lives! THANKS EVERYONE!
Beautiful cake with our logo (thanks Hanks!) Chocolate with strawberry filling. Someone called this our "job security" table.

Getting ready for a par-tay!!
I love party planning. An elegant soiree, a casual brunch, a surprise birthday party, or a good old fashioned Grand Opening! I want to manage all the details right down to the toothpicks in the hors d'oeuvres. This is the most important party of our lives and I want everything to be PERFECT! Met with a sign gal today about having our logo put up behind the reception desk, 3-D style. Maybe mission statement on the wall, also. We're ordering screen printed t-shirts (and a onesie for Gavin) with our logo and website address for giveaways. Chuck's having 6 special shirts made for the girls in his small group session that will say, "Charlie's Angels" on the back. Now we're just trying to get some stuff to give away as door prizes. 8 days!
