A Flood of Foundations

Yesterday was the first time that our newest team members presented at our monthly CrossFit Foundations course. Dan and Julie Flood went above and beyond expectation on their movement and nutrition presentation. I can only hope that everyone else was as impressed as we were with their knowledge of multi-joint movements, nutrition and professionalism. Shelly and I have been in this business for quite a long time, and we know talent when we see it. Dan and Julie are naturals and are very excited have them as part of our team.
We had a great turnout of excited CrossFitters, ready to roll up their sleeves take their lives to the next level of performance. Everyone came with their listening ears on, a great attitude, anxious to learn and open to our training philosophies. I think they really believed everything we told them, too. You know, like the regular cues we commonly make, like: "Keep your back ROUNDED on deadlifts!" Don't ever let your hips pass your knees on a squat!" "Make sure to reverse curl the bar to the shoulders when performing a clean correctly!" The usuals.

It's always a 4 hour block that flies by in no time, no matter how efficient we try to make it.  Thank so much for each of you taking time out of your busy lives to listen and learn something new and refreshing  (I hope), which MAY NOT add years to your life, but WILL ADD life to your years!
"Maktub."  The boy thought.
